Top 10 favourite movies of all time!

10) Ang Tanging Ina Nyong Lahat! (2008)

An unstoppable mother of twelve children gets a job at the presidential palace and ends up in the public eye after unwittingly saving the president's life. She gets thrust onto the national stage, and soon finds herself running for president, charming the country with her own unique brand of mother wisdom. This is the sequel of 'Ang Tanging Ina', funnier than the first one and the dialouges are really hilarious especially between Ai Ai Delas Alas and Eugene Domingo. Who can forget this lines 'ang batang masipag, pag laki PAGOD!' or 'Ako nagsaing, iba ang kumain. Diet ako' ? :)

9) Cinco (2010)

Five short stories. Five directors. One film. Casting the Philippines' top names in showbiz gathered to make one horror flick to scare the hell out of us. My favourite 'episode' is 'Puso' the last one with Pokwang and Zanjoe Marudo; it is a mix of horror, comedy and suspense. But all of them are really good and related each one to another. One of the best Filipino horror movie of all time :) When i watched it in the cinema i was with my cousin, and all the people there were screaming so loud. Those screams just added more suspense and thrill to the movie!

8) Got 2 Believe (2002)

Wedding coordinator Toni (Claudine), is a girl who believes in true love. At 25, she is considered to be an "old maid" by her married sisters, aunts, and friends. Always the bride's maid, never the bride, Toni has yet to find Mr. Right. On the other hand is Lorenz (Rico), is a wedding photographer who doesn't believe in happy endings. Are these two people gonna fall for each other? This is Rico Yan's last movie before he passes away, you should watch again this movie, i'm sure you're missing the Claudine-Rico tandem!

7) A Love Story (2007)

What would you do if you met the woman of your dreams and wanted to make her your wife after you've married someone else? Woooo i know this movie made cry a lot of you there! Maryo J. Delos Reyes is just brilliant in writing the script of his film!

6) In The Name of Love (2011)

In the Name of Love tells the story of Emman Toledo (Aga Muhlach), who has been hired to teach dance lessons to the governor’s son, Dylan Evelino (Jake Cuenca) and his wife-to-be Cedes Fernandez (Angel Locsin) for the upcoming Governor’s ball where the two are set to announce their engagement. Unbeknownst to Dylan is the past relationship between Emman and Cedes, who have been lovers back when they used to be performers in Japan. Soon, the three are caught in a web of deception and lies, with each one of them trying to get out of the ugly battle, alive. The twist of the story is unexpected and i think this is the most challenging and daring role that Angel Locsin have ever played.

5) My Only U (2008)

The story of My Only U starts off with a superstitious twist. Winona (Toni Gonzaga) believes that her family has a curse; that no one in her mother's family can live beyond 25 years. It happened to her brother, her mother, her grandmother, you get the drift. Her 25th birthday is only a few days away and she is expecting to die. Her admirer and secret lover, Bong (Vhong Navarro) is now going to stop at nothing to prevent anything to happen to Winona. In the ensuing chaos, Winona "sees" how Bong loves her and Bong on the other hand learns to "tell" Winona of his love. All i can say is this: Toni and Vhong do magic together! :)

4) Ngayong Nandito Ka (2003)

I truly enjoyed this film, it features two of the Philippines biggest stars, attractive and talented Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales. Both provide stellar performances. I wish in the future that they will have another projects together. The Jericho-Kristine tandem is EPIC.

3) A Very Special Love (2008)

The Box Office King of All Time meets The Box Office Queen of all time! Together for the first time in the big screen! The movie is successful in making the people laugh, and even more successful in making them so kilig. Whether the viewer is single or in love or heartbroken, the movie will make him/her feel good. The movie has introduced several out of the box ideas—the post-it notes on the boss’s cup of coffee and the now popular "rain dance".

2) My Amnesia Girl (2010)

My Amnesia Girl is not just a movie, it is a TREND! It is because of this movie if the 'BANAT lines' are so famous now (Ihi ka ba? Kasi Hindi kita matiis! hehe). 'My Amnesia Girl' fulfills everything that a mainstream romantic comedy should do.

and the winner is........

1)One More Chance (2007)

I watched this movie over and over again and I just can't get enough of it! :)) It's a breath of fresh air that One More Chance centers around non-stereotypical characters who are neither abnormally wacky or depressingly serious. They are characters you can relate to battling conflicts that could happen to everyone. Maybe this is why this film is one of the best loved romantic movies of the generation.
